Apples spring loaded event on April 20 at the Steve Jobs Theater on its Apple Park campus on Tuesday. The US-based tech giant is expected to make several announcements regarding upcoming products. These include a new design of the new iMac and perhaps a new mini-LED display with other products such as the iPad Pro and AirPod 3.

iPad Pro with Mini-LED tech
The expected iPad Pro update is anticipated to come with a new mini-LED display panel, which will provide a much better contrast ratio on the tablet than a traditional LCD panel. Aside from the display panel, the new iPad Pro series is expected to look a lot like the previous model.
Thunderbolt support is another specification that is rumored to allow the tablet to support more external display monitors. Apple has not changed the look of the classic iMac since 2012, which was about 10 years ago. However, the new all-in-one desktop will have an updated design this year. Reports have suggested that the new iMac will likely take its design cues from Apple’s own Pro Display XDR monitor.
iOS 14.5 rollout (Apples spring loaded event)
Apple’s iOS 14.5 is expected to launch next week, with the announcement expected during Apple’s ‘Spring Loaded’ launch event. iOS 14.5 adds a ton of new features, including the ability to use Face ID to unlock your iPhone using a skin. New application tracking transparency policies have also been added to the update.
Apple is rumoured to be working on several other new products. These include the AirPods 3, an updated version of the Apple TV 4K and the rumoured Apple AirTags.
