Prime Minister Narendra Modi Addresses the Nation Today Live Updates: In his address to the nation, Prime Minister Modi announced a centralized COVID-19 vaccine policy on Monday. “The twenty-five percent immunization work with the states will now be handled by the Center, it will be implemented in the next two weeks. In the next two weeks, both the state and the Center will work according to the new guidelines, ”announced Prime Minister Modi.

He also announced that starting June 21, all citizens 18 and older would receive free vaccinations. The Prime Minister also assured the nation that the supply of vaccines would increase in the coming days. “Work is also underway to develop an intranasal vaccine for Covid,” he said.
The prime minister’s speech to the nation comes on a day when India recorded 1,00,636 new Covid-19 cases and 2,427 deaths, the lowest level in 61 days. Part of this is related to fewer tests on Sundays. Only 15.87 lakh of samples were analyzed on Sunday, while in the last week an average of more than 20 lakh of samples were analyzed.
