State Education Minister and State President of Congress Party Govind Dotasara had also talked to CM Gehlot on Tuesday in this matter. Today, in the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, a decision has been taken to cancel the examination, which has come true to the expectations of the students.
After the cancellation of CBSE exams, now other state boards including UP and MP boards have also taken a decision on 12th examinations. In a meeting chaired by PM Modi on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, it was decided to cancel the 12th board exams. Due to the cancellation of CBSE and CISCE examinations, about 16 lakh students across the country have got a big relief.
The state itself will decide whether to cancel the exam or not.
The central government has given this exemption to the state governments that they are free to take any decision regarding the 12th examination. The central government said that now the states also have the option to cancel the 12th examination. There is no compulsion on the states to cancel the examination.

Talking about other state boards regarding the 12th examination, now the MP Board, Maharashtra Board, Jharkhand Board have to decide regarding the 12th examinations. Let us inform that the Maharashtra Board and Rajasthan Board have already canceled the 10th examinations, and now the Rajasthan government has canceled the Rajasthan Board 12th examinations by taking a decision in the interest of the students. Let us tell you that if we talk about the 12th students in all the boards across the country, this year about 1.5 crore students had registered themselves for the 12th examination.
