Abdul Rashid Kashmiri Singer, a prominent third-gender Kashmiri singer popularly known as Reshma, a well known singer of Kashmir, passed away at 12 noon on Sunday.
The demise of Reshma, a prominent voice representing the transgender community in the Kashmir Valley, has created a huge grief within the transgender community which is hard to fill. Reshma worked very hard till her last breath, especially in highlighting the issues faced by the transgender community. He became known as a great personality, especially with his singing style.
